I am responsible for raising voluntary income for Variety, the Children’s Charity so that we can improve thousands of young lives by providing practical help (such as Sunshine Coaches, wheelchairs and specialist equipment) and memorable childhood experiences.

This involves supporting, managing and developing a wide range of existing and new contacts as well as charitable activities. In addition to this I am responsible for driving and developing new fundraising opportunities as well as providing support to Variety’s Midlands Committee to maximise income and ensure successful planning and implementation of regional fundraising

In a previous role as Volunteer Fundraising Manager it was my duty to manage five Fundraising Regional Volunteer  with their local appeals as well as provide them with administrative support. In addition to this I was also first point of contact for volunteers and supporters within Central and Northwest England therefore I was responsible for delivering excellent customer care at all times.
